Symbol of Tokyo both in past and present
Tokyo Tower was constructed as a radio tower in 1958.
333 meters height was the tallest radio tower in Japan for long time and was the symbol of Tokyo.
Every school kids once visit there as their field trip.
Now, the tallest tower in Japan is 634 meters height “Tokyo Sky Tree” which was constructed in 2012. But still people love Tokyo Tower and many tourists visit there.
Tokyo Tower has two observatory decks.
One is 150 meters above the ground and another one is 250 meters above from the ground.
The observatory deck affords a panoramic view throughout the Tokyo area.
If you go there during daytime, you will see the Mount Fuji too.
I recommend to visit there both day and night.
It normally light-up with nostalgic red color, but on special day it change their color.
